This past weekend my team shot a new web series. A talk show featuring Black men and their thoughts on love, relationships, dating, sex, etc. It will run on MadameNoire.com soon.
It was a long shoot day. 13 hours for me.
I can’t express how proud of my team I am. It all came together very very well. Production was on point (resourcefully creative is how we roll). The casting was perfect—I loved each of the 18 men I selected to be on the show. My talent was super awesome and she looked amazing. My crew was very cool to work with. Honestly, I am so fortunate to have good vibes on set. I can’t work with ungood vibes. (That’s probably because I know I have enough ungood vibes for everyone LOL.)
Anyway. I hope this show gets picked up for another season, as I’d like to add in more diversity of thought among the men. Maybe more married men, more working class men, more openly Christian men (if that makes sense lol). I think those types of Black men do not get enough positive shine in popular media so it would be good to have them represented somewhere.
Next steps for me? Finding a good editor for this show and working on these motion graphics. Stay tuned!
