If you haven’t picked up on it yet, I live a very…random life. I find myself in the most random of situations from time to time either through work, or people I know or….SOMEthing.  Today’s adventure included interviewing the entire cast of the BET series “The Game” for some video content.  I know there are a lot of fans who would love this opportunity, but for me? I amso swamped at work, I don’t get the opportunity to do a lot of hands on production these days (I’m always hiring and looking for freelancers tho!). But I get in where I fit in.  So here I am today, filling in some gaps for my team and producing some video segments at a press day event….. Confession: I have not watched a full season of the game in ~2 seasons. SMH. So, while I knew which actors were which characters, I wasn’t up on the latest character  developments.  But as I say everyday, I am going to find a way to make it work. Gettin my Tim Gunn on and stuff.  One by one, two by two, I talked to 6 of the primary cast members: Tia, Pooch, Wendy, Hosea, Colby and….BRANDY. Brandy was a surprise. I had no idea she would be there, she was not planned, but we made it work as a last minute request and it was pretty fun! You already know i LOVED Moesha as a teen and I have loved Brandy’s music since the 8th grade. I had a silent Stan moment with Brandy. And Tia as well.  Anyway, we’ll be cutting the video soon and it will run on MadameNoire.com. I had the best time on this shoot, though. The cast kept me in stitches for every interview, I had to stifle many a laugh (if you know me in real life, you KNOW my laughs are…umm…loud…and…bubbly….so you know I was struggling to cover them up).  Aight. Watch the show! It premiers next week! I would tell ya’ll more tea but this is public and stuff. For real though, the cast is pretty cool peeps.
